Mrs. Yakima Chinn was born in Killeen, Texas. She is married to Richard Chinn and has 6 kids.

She enjoys reading, writing poetry, shopping, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Chinn started her career as a CNA, obtained from Piedmont Technical College,

and later furthered her education at Miller-Mitte Technical College, where she received her 

Registered Medical Assistant Certification, and she achieved her Associate Degree in Occupational Science. She also received her certifications as a Certified Hearing Conservationist, certified in Spirometry, and a Phlebotomist. She is also DOT certified and certified in breath alcohol technician. She's been a Cosmetologist for over 20 years.

She has been in the medical field as a CNA and Registered Assistant for over 12 years. She has 6 years of experience in Occupational Health, 10 years of experience in phlebotomy at Ascend Hospital, and 3 years as a Hearing Conversationist and Spirometry at Ascend
